Overview
In this role you will join a London-based fit-out specialist to manage cost and commercial aspects of interior projects up to £10m. You will work within a growth-minded team delivering excellence for education, healthcare and leisure sectors, coordinating between clients, contractors and design teams. You will shape project financials, contracts and value engineering to support on-time, on-budget delivery. This is a stepping-stone role with progression to Senior Quantity Surveyor in a reputable firm known for landmark projects like the London Eye.
Key requirements
- Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying
- Solid experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Financial and numerical management experience
- Outstanding communication skills with negotiation ability
- Experience managing projects in education, healthcare, commercial or heritage
- Experience in a main contracting environment
- Understanding of standard building contracts
- IT literate
- Thorough understanding of building technology; ability to read drawings and specifications
- Keen eye for detail and accurate time sheets
