Overview

In this role you will advise on a wide range of corporate transactions, often multijurisdictional and high value, delivering pragmatic, strategic guidance for world‑class clients. You will collaborate with multiple practice groups and lead or coordinate documentation, due diligence, and cross‑border projects to ensure high‑quality service. The position involves working with global teams, managing deadlines, and contributing to innovative service delivery and continual process improvements. Responsibilities

• Draft corporate documentation for diverse matters
• Lead large-scale due diligence projects and prepare due diligence reports
• Act as country or regional coordinator on global transactions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Baker McKenzie offices
• Escalate project-specific issues to management or partners
• Build relationships with partners and lawyers across jurisdictions
• Contribute to bespoke projects identifying innovative services, methods, know-how, and platforms
• Support across multiple jurisdictions on corporate matters

Key requirements

• Qualified as a solicitor in Northern Ireland and/or England and Wales
• Ability to review, analyze, and organize documentary and factual evidence; advise on risk and mitigation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player with ability to work independently
• Sound commercial awareness and client-first service orientation
• Self-starter, collaborative, pragmatic, commercial, adaptable
• Excellent writing and organizational skills
• Ability to balance priorities and meet deadlines
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and online research tools
