Overview

In this role you will develop and deliver supply chain and procurement strategies for large-scale UK construction and infrastructure programmes. You will collaborate with internal project teams and critical suppliers to improve procurement performance, value, and resilience. You’ll work across public sector programmes in rail, civil, buildings, energy and utilities, within NEC contracting environments where relevant. This is a pivotal role during a period of growth and strategic change, offering influence across major projects and a clear path to leadership impact.

Pay / Benefits

  • Hybrid working (3 days in office / on-site)
  • Salary: 80,000 + 10% bonus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver supply chain and procurement strategies for major construction and infrastructure programmes
  • Support complex public sector projects across rail, civil, buildings, energy, utilities and infrastructure
  • Drive improvements in procurement performance, commercial value, and supply chain resilience
  • Engage with internal project teams and key external suppliers to build strong relationships
  • Operate within NEC contracting environments where relevant

Key requirements

  • Strong construction procurement / supply chain experience on major projects or programmes
  • Experience delivering projects for public sector clients
  • Background across civil engineering, rail, buildings, energy, utilities or infrastructure
  • NEC contract experience would be highly beneficial
  • Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and suppliers
