Overview

In this role you support strategic planning, management information, and external/internal reporting for Banking activities. You will produce and analyse data to track performance against objectives, support forecasting, and maintain information portals and dashboards. You’ll work across cross-functional teams to improve data quality and inform decision-making, contributing to the Bank’s operational targets and reporting to key stakeholders. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to the Board, ExCom and Client Services Group
  • Produce and maintain data warehouse reports for MIS and scorecard monitoring
  • Analyse Banking investment operations to support business reviews and regular reporting
  • Develop and maintain information portals providing data, MIS, and analysis
  • Contribute to forecasting processes including the SCF and SIP
  • Identify and resolve data integrity issues and implement process improvements
  • Represent OSP in cross-departmental projects as a subject matter expert
  • Support Bank users with data requirements and ensure timely delivery per SLAs
  • Develop financial performance analytics to support decision-making and Banking strategy
  • Develop segmented P&L models for forecasting, planning and reporting
  • Collaborate with Capital and Liquidity Planning on RAROC targets and monitor effectiveness
  • Act as point of contact for senior Banking leaders to improve understanding and use of data analytics

Key requirements

  • Experience in management information roles within blue-chip or professional organisations
  • Strong data mining experience with Cognos, Tableau and/or relational/multidimensional databases
  • Good understanding of data warehouse reporting environments, MIS systems, pipelines and portfolio dynamics
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with ability to handle large data sets
  • Experience with external reporting frameworks (shareholders, rating agencies, etc.) advantageous
  • Proficiency with BI/reporting tools such as Cognos, Tableau, Power BI or equivalent
  • Advanced Excel skills including formulas and macros
  • Strong drafting, reporting, numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Clear communication and ability to explain complex data
  • Ability to work independently on standard/moderately complex tasks and drive process improvements
