Procurement Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead end-to-end procurement across categories, shaping sourcing strategies and delivering compliant procurement solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to drive value within a regulated environment, influencing strategic procurement decisions. You will manage the full lifecycle from market engagement and tendering to contract award, renewal, and supplier performance. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies across categories (HR, Finance, Marketing, Indirect spend)
• Manage full procurement lifecycle from market engagement and tendering to contract award and implementation
• Provide procurement expertise and commercial guidance to stakeholders
• Lead competitive tender exercises and supplier engagement
• Ensure compliance with public procurement regulations, governance requirements, and internal policies
• Manage contract lifecycle activities including renewals and extensions, and monitor supplier performance
• Maintain accurate procurement and contract records and support continuous improvement initiatives

Key requirements

• Proven experience delivering complex procurement projects in regulated/public sector environments
• Fully conversant with PA23 with TPP certification
• Strong knowledge of public procurement regulations and best practices
• Experience developing category strategies and managing competitive tender processes
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills
• Strong analytical and commercial capabilities with ability to manage multiple priorities
