Agile Project Manager

Overview

In this role you will drive Agile delivery within a DevSecOps context, acting as servant-leader to engineering teams. You will manage milestones, risks and stakeholder expectations while enhancing delivery metrics and reporting. You’ll collaborate with DevOps/SRE to optimize CI/CD and developer experience, and promote engineering best practices. This position offers impact across regulated financial services environments with a focus on operational excellence and agile transformation.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, planning, reviews, retrospectives)
• Drive continuous improvement through structured feedback loops
• Remove obstacles and escalate blockers to keep progress
• Create and maintain project timelines and track milestones
• Manage risks and issues with stakeholder visibility
• Collaborate with DevOps/SRE to improve delivery metrics and dashboards
• Support CI/CD workflow integration and optimization
• Promote engineering best practices to improve developer experience
• Monitor environment performance data and AWS operational metrics

Key requirements

• Proven Agile Project Manager experience in a technology/engineering setting
• Ownership of timelines, dependencies and milestones
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Proficiency in Jira for backlog management and reporting
• Solid understanding of DevOps, cloud-native engineering and SDLC
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git workflows and release management
• Good working knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM)
• Agile certification (CSM, PSM I/II, SAFe SM, PMI-ACP; PRINCE2 Agile a plus)
• Experience with developer productivity tools such as BlueOptima or LinearB
• Background in financial services or other regulated environments
• AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect Associate or DevOps Professional)
