Overview

In this role you will lead the end-to-end architecture for IT initiatives within the Asset Servicing domain, ensuring security and non-functional requirements are met. You will collaborate with requirement owners, domain architects, and IT engineers to deliver high-quality solutions and align with enterprise standards. You will bridge Enterprise Architecture and delivery teams, shape target architectures, and develop reusable patterns. You will contribute to Solution Architecture and Software Engineering practices and share learnings within communities of practice. This role offers impact on Euroclear’s IT landscape in a collaborative, innovative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement end-to-end architecture solutions for IT initiatives meeting functional, non-functional, and security requirements
  • Collaborate with requirement owners, domain architects, and IT engineers to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Bridge Enterprise Architecture and IT delivery teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and domain target architectures
  • Develop reusable solution patterns and actively contribute to Architecture and Software Engineering practices
  • Apply hands-on technology and delivery experience to shape domain target architectures and roadmaps in Asset Servicing
  • Engage in communities of practice to share standard methodologies and lessons learned

Key requirements

  • Extensive IT industry experience as a solution architect on large-scale transformation projects
  • Experience with large-scale agile projects and DevOps practices including CI/CD; SAFe knowledge beneficial
  • Proficiency in Event Driven and Service-based architectures, microservices, and RESTful APIs
  • Experience with Java/Linux/OpenShift or Mainframe Tandem and Azure Cloud
  • Familiarity with integration and data technologies; JavaScript front-end frameworks like Angular advantageous
  • Ability to solve complex problems across functions, locations, and organizations
  • Autonomy in conducting architectural analysis with minimal mentorship and good escalation sense
  • Strategic and technical balance for high-level documents and technical implementation challenges
  • Strong analytical skills; pragmatic, fit-for-purpose delivery
  • Innovation mindset to improve IT delivery processes and drive change
  • Excellent communication to advocate architectural recommendations to teams and senior management
  • Relationship management and collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of post-trade market infrastructures and Enterprise Architecture frameworks (Open Agile Architecture or TOGAF) a plus
  • Experience in Financial Services and Asset Servicing processes and regulatory environments beneficial
