Senior Quantity Surveyor – London – Residential

Overview

In this role you will lead the commercial function across a diverse London portfolio, delivering schemes on time and within budget. You will partner with internal development, design, and delivery teams to drive value and profits in a fast-paced residential and conversion environment. You’ll own cost planning, procurement, and forecasting, shaping commercial strategy for high-end refurbishments and mixed-use projects. Responsibilities

• Lead the full commercial cycle of projects, including cost planning, valuation, change management and final accounts.
• Prepare and negotiate subcontract packages, manage tender processes, assess bids and oversee contract administration.
• Track expenditure, produce cost forecasts, and provide commercial insight to senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal development, design and delivery teams to support programme, quality and financial objectives.
• Identify and mitigate commercial, contractual and delivery risks while ensuring compliance.

Key requirements

• Degree-level qualification in Quantity Surveying or alternative relevant field
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role, preferably with an in-house contractor or developer
• Based within a commutable distance of London
