Overview

As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Stantec, you will deliver EICA design solutions for diverse UK water projects, from concept to construction support. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical electrical designs and lead design reviews and technical workshops. You will mentor graduates and contribute to technical best practices while supporting multiple UK water frameworks. Responsibilities

  • Deliver electrical engineering and EICA designs from concept through to detailed design and construction support
  • Produce calculations, Single Line Diagrams, Block Cable Diagrams, equipment schedules and specifications
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors and clients to develop practical engineering solutions
  • Support design reviews, HAZOPs and technical workshops
  • Mentor graduate and junior engineers and contribute to technical best practice
  • Support project delivery across multiple UK water sector frameworks

Key requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • Experience delivering electrical or EICA design within infrastructure/utilities/industrial environments
  • Knowledge of electrical design standards and low voltage power distribution
  • Experience producing technical calculations, drawings and specifications
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management
