Overview

As Product Manager for BNY’s Custody team in London, you own the end-to-end roadmap for MENA custody capabilities, shaping onboarding, settlement, safekeeping, corporate actions, and reporting. You’ll act as the product interface with local regulators and market infrastructure, translating requirements into clear plans and prioritised initiatives. Working with cross-functional teams, you’ll translate regulatory needs into delivery milestones and ensure ongoing compliance. You’ll partner across Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Enterprise stakeholders to align client demand with capabilities, delivering impactful, regulated solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end product roadmap for the MENA custody capabilities aligned to firm-wide platform and regional growth priorities
  • Define product vision, scope, and success metrics for onboarding, settlement, safekeeping, corporate actions, and reporting
  • Interface with local market infrastructure and regulators
  • Translate regulatory, membership, and technical requirements into product and delivery plans
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Risk to ensure regulatory adherence and change management
  • Translate requirements into prioritized backlogs and delivery milestones with cross-platform engineering and operations teams
  • Support quarterly planning with clear capacity, dependency, and risk articulation
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align client demand with capabilities
  • Incorporate client and market feedback into product enhancements and roadmap evolution
  • Communicate product status, risks, and dependencies to senior stakeholders

Key requirements

  • Product management experience in custody, securities services, or post-trade domains
  • Direct experience with MENA capital markets, custody models, or market infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of custody operating models, settlement flows, asset servicing, and market connectivity
  • Proven experience working with regulators or market utilities
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional delivery in regulated environments
