Clinical Supply Chain Forecast Manager

Overview

As Clinical Supply Chain Forecast Manager, you will drive forecasting and budget planning for clinical programs, ensuring supply meets patient needs. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate study designs into accurate forecasts and monitor progress to avoid stockouts. The role partners with manufacturing, packaging, and procurement to align production with clinical demand. You will lead IMP estimation, risk assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives within GCSM, contributing to on-time supply and patient impact. Responsibilities

• Drive clinical supply forecasting and budgetary requirements for clinical programs
• Organize cross-functional review meetings and translate study design into forecasts
• Monitor forecast accuracy, analyze deviations, and implement corrective actions
• Align with clinical manufacturing for semi-finished goods planning
• Coordinate internal packaging and distribution with procurement and planning
• Develop and optimize forecasts over 3–12 months to ensure on-time supply
• Lead IMP estimation meetings, conduct risk assessments, and manage stock-out risks
• Coordinate with matrixed teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Contribute to quality, compliance, and CSR through Ipsen’s QM system and KPIs

Key requirements

• Approximately 3–5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry with international exposure
• Experience managing complex investigational supplies for global clinical trials
• Experience in project management and cross-functional communications in a matrix environment
• Advanced Excel usage; experience with RTSM platforms and partnering with external CDMOs
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain Management
• English; French preferred
