Overview

In this role you support the president and senior management, ensuring governance and regulatory reporting are accurate and timely. You will manage Companies House interactions, advise on corporate responsibilities, and coordinate between the company, regulators, and head office. You drive committee effectiveness, manage documentation, and oversee MI and reporting cycles. This position offers impact in governance and cross-functional projects within a London-based corporate office.

Responsibilities

  • Support the President and senior management in day-to-day activities
  • Maintain and update Companies House records; liaise with authorities and ensure timely submissions
  • Advise on corporate governance matters to senior management
  • Coordinate liaison with stakeholders including head office and regulators
  • Organise Management Committee meetings; prepare agendas, papers, minutes, and action lists
  • Follow up on post-meeting actions and deadlines
  • Manage Management Committee documentation and regulatory filings
  • Prepare correspondence, presentations, and reports; communicate decisions to stakeholders
  • Prepare and manage firm-wide MI reports (monthly, semi-annual, annual) and PRA reports via CCO
  • Maintain firm policies register
  • Undertake cross-functional projects and research as assigned by the President

Key requirements

  • Mandarin fluent to native level
  • Administrative/EA background in Chinese banks
  • Experience interacting with Companies House
  • Strong governance knowledge and regulatory exposure in banking/financial services
  • Ethical integrity and high discretion with confidential information
  • Strong organisational, multitasking, and prioritisation skills
