Overview
In this role you drive engineering project delivery within Vanderlande’s UK team, coordinating multidisciplinary workstreams to meet demanding customer needs. You will lead project planning, technical execution, and risk-aware budgeting, acting as a bridge between customers and internal/external teams. You’ll also integrate health and safety considerations into design and continually improve project processes. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced, global engineering environment with clear growth opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Plan and own the engineering project plan as a stakeholder
- Provide technical leadership to internal and external teams for project execution
- Proactively manage project budgets, identify risks, and report on scope changes
- Oversee the delivery of (sub-)systems ensuring quality as a technical partner to customers
- Perform health and safety analyses and ensure design implementation
- Continuously improve project management processes and promote best practices
Key requirements
- Degree in mechanical, electrical or controls engineering
- Experience managing complex engineering projects for demanding customers in a dynamic environment
- Qualified project management knowledge with experience in engineering projects, preferably in material handling systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- Ability to lead multidiscipline teams and act as technical lead
