Business Analyst

Overview

In this perm role, you will support digital product delivery by translating business needs into technical specs and ensuring alignment with project goals. You’ll work closely with clients, product managers and delivery teams in an Agile environment, writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria. You’ll act as the first point of contact for the delivery team to clarify requirements and help shape effective solutions. You’ll thrive in a collaborative setting that values accessibility, stakeholder engagement and pragmatic problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements from client and product colleagues and translate into technical specifications
• Challenge requirements to ensure alignment with corporate and project goals
• Operate within an Agile delivery team performing typical BA duties
• Write high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria for developers
• Serve as a point of contact for the delivery team to clarify requirements
• Develop effective collaboration with engineering, development and QA teams
• Facilitate communication with stakeholders to discuss solutions, designs, and delivery options

Key requirements

• Experience capturing user needs through workshops, structured interviews
• Ability to present business processes using modelling techniques (e.g., BPMN, Use Cases) and develop User Stories
• Ability to structure analysis (e.g., SWOT, MOST)
• Experience with Agile delivery across lifecycle of projects
• Experience writing Functional and Non-Functional requirements
• Experience in Agile Scrum and delivering software in Agile teams
• Strong written and spoken communication to engage with managers and stakeholders
• Pragmatic approach to elicit and elaborate client needs
• Understanding of technology development team dynamics
