Overview
In this Contracts Manager role within the Main Works division, you will oversee education and healthcare projects valued between 1m and 5m across the Home Counties. You will coordinate delivery on new build and refurbishment works, ensuring projects run smoothly across multiple sites. You will build and sustain strong supply chain relationships while maintaining a sharp customer focus and high energy to drive results. This permanent role offers hands-on leadership, travel between sites, and the opportunity to shape project outcomes within a respected contractor.

Responsibilities
- oversee multiple education and healthcare projects (1m–5m) across locations in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Cambridge and London
- manage both new build and refurbishment works
- coordinate and optimize supply chain relationships
- maintain high levels of customer focus and stakeholder satisfaction
- travel between sites within the Home Counties as required
- lead project delivery within a busy division and ensure on-time, on-budget completion
Key requirements
- experience with main contractor (education/healthcare projects)
- proven track record managing multiple projects concurrently
- experience in new build and refurbishment works
- strong supplier relationship management
- customer-focused approach and high energy/ambition
- live within commutable distance to Hitchin, Hertfordshire and willing to travel
