Overview
In this role you drive site performance and customer outcomes by leading operations strategy and a growing team. You own key metrics, shape plans for peak periods, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize safety, budgeting, and execution. You mentor managers and translate business goals into actionable initiatives. This is a hands-on leadership role at a fast-paced site with impact across finance, safety, and operations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor operational metrics and business performance
- Contribute to planning the operational budget and labor planning
- Ensure high standards of Health and Safety
- Strategic planning for 3, 6 and 12 months with focus on peak-season planning
- Be accountable for leadership by measuring performance and providing development support
- Lead shifts at the site and act as a link between teams (finance, safety, operations integration)
- Deep-dive into performance and risk metrics and prepare for demand variations
- Mentor and coach the team to develop managers
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or experience in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or related field
- Advanced degree, or Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in manufacturing, production, distribution logistics, retail, or grocery management
- Experience in stakeholder management across multiple levels
- Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and upper-intermediate proficiency in local language
