Overview

In this role you will lead regional fleet operations and establish a unified governance model to optimize fleet size, service levels, and cost. You will be a central liaison between local operations and global leadership, ensuring alignment with business objectives. You will develop a global fleet policy, KPI framework, and regular executive reporting to drive performance and opportunities. You will partner with Sales, Supply Chain and Service & Repair to improve cost efficiency and environmental impact. This position sits at the intersection of operations, analytics, and strategy within a medical device company.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate regional fleet teams to uphold global standards and best practices from NPI to EOL
  • Develop and implement a global fleet policy covering lifecycle, service levels, and cost control
  • Design and maintain a KPI framework to monitor fleet size, utilization, cost, service performance, and compliance
  • Provide regular reporting and dashboards to executive leadership on fleet health and optimization opportunities
  • Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain and Service & Repair to ensure cost-effective, compliant fleet operations
  • Lead initiatives to reduce total cost of ownership and improve environmental impact

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field; advanced degree a plus
  • Solid experience in fleet management, preferably in regulated or healthcare-related industry
  • Strong analytical skills with KPI development and reporting tools
  • Experience working with regional teams in a matrixed environment
  • Strategic thinking and ability to align fleet operations with broader business goals
  • Data-driven decision making and ability to present complex data to senior stakeholders
