Quantity Surveyor

Overview

In this role you will manage project costs for office fit-out and refurbishment schemes, from early stages through completion. You will work closely with delivery teams to keep projects on track while building relationships with subcontractors and clients. The position offers growth toward a fully-fledged QS, with increasing ownership as you gain confidence. You will contribute to delivering high-quality commercial interiors, supported by a growing, collaborative contractor based in Leeds.

Responsibilities

• manage costs across the project lifecycle

• contribute to cost reporting and financial clarity on schemes

Key requirements

• experience as a QS or Assistant QS in construction
• exposure to fit out, refurbishment, or interiors
• familiar with subcontractor procurement, valuations, cost reporting, and final accounts
• experience on projects from hundreds of thousands to multi-million pounds
• keen to learn and take on more responsibility
