Overview
As a Hardware Verification Engineer in the PowerVR Hardware Graphics group, you will shape verification strategies for next-gen GPU subsystems. You’ll architect scalable verification environments and lead testbench definitions, collaborating with architects and lead engineers. You will tackle complex verification challenges in graphics, AI, and connectivity processing, delivering high-quality IP. This role combines hands-on test development with strategic influence to raise verification productivity. You’ll join a world-class team at a company delivering cutting-edge silicon and software IP that powers billions of devices.
Responsibilities
- Architect advanced scalable verification environments and define testbench architectures for GPU subsystems
- Participate in design specification reviews with lead engineers and architects
- Resolve complex verification problems arising from advanced GPU architectures
- Lead verification strategy and methodologies across the organization
- Hands-on development of test plans and complex testbench components
- Evaluate and integrate new tools and machine learning applications in verification
Key requirements
- Deep expertise in architecting complex testbenches
- Proven track record of developing verification environments from scratch
- Excellent understanding of constrained-random verification methodology and reusable components
- Expertise in root-cause analysis of complex issues
- Excellent knowledge of SystemVerilog and UVM
- Strong technical leadership with mentoring experience
