Overview

In this role you will lead advanced technical design and project delivery for complex architectural packages, ensuring constructability, compliance and quality. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, engage clients and contribute to proposals and business development. The position emphasizes mentoring, resource management and maintaining high technical standards across commissions. You will leverage advanced BIM and digital design to drive delivery from concept to construction and support hybrid working arrangements. This role offers progression toward Associate level based on performance and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive technical project delivery ensuring quality, compliance and programme adherence
  • Lead projects from concept through construction deliverables with minimal supervision
  • Coordinate consultants, contractors and clients with clear multidisciplinary communication
  • Produce conceptual sketches, design visuals and detailed technical documentation
  • Manage and allocate project resources and report workload and status
  • Mentor and develop junior staff to support project delivery
  • Apply advanced technical design knowledge focusing on constructability, compliance and cost
  • Support client engagement, submissions, bids, and business development activities

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architectural Technology or equivalent
  • 6 to 8 years post-qualification experience with CIAT or equivalent registration
  • Advanced technical design, documentation and detailing experience across complex packages
  • Expert proficiency in Revit, BIM 360, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Suite
  • Strong understanding of BIM processes and multidisciplinary coordination
  • Good knowledge of Building Planning Regulations and their application
  • Proven client engagement, presentation and relationship management skills
