Overview
In this role you translate complex regulatory requirements into clear business needs and specifications for a regulatory reporting solution. You will collaborate with the development team and stakeholders, perform analysis of German regulatory regimes, and support UAT and ongoing rule changes. The position is internal-facing with some client interaction, based in London, offering ownership of regulatory reporting products across asset classes. You will work within a team focused on regulatory change across markets and drive fit-for-purpose solutions.
Responsibilities
- Write business requirements and functional specifications for the solution development team
- Analyse regulatory specifications from Bundesbank and other German regulators (AnaCredit, Capital, Liquidity, Financial & Statistical)
- Liaise with the solution development team to ensure clear understanding of business requirements
- Conduct UAT testing guidance, review test cases and results
- Monitor and maintain regulatory rule changes to keep the solution aligned with business needs
Key requirements
- Sound knowledge of regulations like COREP, FINREP, AnaCredit, SHS
- Previous experience as a business analyst with regulatory reporting focus
- Understanding of regulatory processes in banks and challenges in meeting reporting requirements
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Experience translating legal texts into business requirements and specifications
