Structural Engineer/Senior Structural Engineer

Overview

In this role you will join Cundall’s Structural Engineering Team in London to design and model complex structures. You will develop parametric and structural analysis models, perform detailed calculations, and produce sketches and specifications across diverse materials. The position offers growing responsibility within a multidisciplinary, collaborative environment and support toward Chartership. You will work on prestigious projects worldwide, contributing to innovative digital engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parametric and structural analysis models
• Conduct detailed structural calculations and prepare sketches/specifications
• Collaborate across disciplines on diverse materials and innovative concepts
• Contribute to project delivery and documentation
• Progressively take on more responsibility as skills develop
• Support digital engineering and modelling initiatives

Key requirements

• MEng degree in Structural Engineering
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Deep understanding of structural analysis and finite element modelling
• Strong knowledge of Rhino and Grasshopper
• Coding knowledge in C# or Python is desirable
• Organised, deadline-driven, and client-focused
• Good written and verbal communication skills
