Overview

You join Turner & Townsend as part of a national health programme delivery team focused on building and refurbishing UK hospitals. In this role you will deliver cost management and estimating excellence across pre- and post-contract activities, supporting governance and data-driven decision making. You collaborate with scheme leads, Trusts, and Advisors to ensure cost control and value delivery at scale. Responsibilities

  • Provide cost management and estimating expertise to function leads across pre- and post-contract phases
  • Support cost assurance, risk review, and data verification to maintain the approved baseline
  • Develop and adopt client tools and products to enhance future performance
  • Engage with Trusts, Cost Consultants and Contractors to maintain robust cost management and reporting
  • Contribute to cost analysis, reporting, and commercial decision making
  • Support business case review and governance processes
  • Contribute to change control including cost assessment of changes
  • Mentor and support regional teams and participate in networking and pursuits

Key requirements

  • Relevant technical qualification with track record delivering major projects and programmes of significant value and complexity
  • Strong client-focused approach with excellent stakeholder management
  • Working towards or holding an applicable professional qualification
  • Experience in construction consultancy, healthcare/life science projects, or digital software for project management is advantageous
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build trust with internal and external stakeholders
