Overview

As an Installation Engineer at Johnson Controls, you will install VRF/VRV, DX, and split systems at customer sites while building strong client relationships. You’ll support multiple projects, from installation to commissioning, and travel as required. You will work with a VRF Installation Team to deliver on time, with safety and quality at the forefront. This role offers hands-on impact in a global leader’s HVAC and building solutions space.

Responsibilities

  • Install HVAC equipment and pipework according to defined processes and timelines
  • Support multiple projects, including working away when required
  • Deliver projects on time and within budget as part of the VRF Installation Team
  • Adhere to company and legal requirements, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • Prioritise Health & Safety compliance at all times
  • Attend client sites and provide high-quality installations and guidance to meet customer needs

Key requirements

  • Proven experience in full HVAC installation (pipework, bracketry, cabling)
  • F-GAS 2079 Cat 1 qualification
  • Experience with major manufacturers (Daikin, Hitachi, Mitsubishi Electric, Airedale)
  • Knowledge of DX, Split VRF/VRV systems, AHUs & ventilation plant
  • Experience commissioning HVAC equipment
  • Ability to interpret technical documents (electrical schemes, piping diagrams)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • IT skills (recording details in LD-Control platform via iPad)
  • Self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented attitude
