Overview
As Analytics Platform Business Analyst, you bridge analytics users and technology teams to own business requirements and user enablement for the Ignite platforms on GCP. You help ensure compliant use, support upgrades, and design new capabilities for client-facing and internal environments. You will work with cross-functional teams to prioritise issues, document guidance, and implement cost controls and recovery plans. This role blends traditional BA skills with hands-on analytics to shape scalable data workflows.

Responsibilities
- Gather and understand user needs across Ignite Internal and Ignite Direct
- Create and maintain user guides and best practices for setup and capabilities
- Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to prioritise issues and assess platform change impacts
- Design and implement new capabilities for client-facing Ignite platforms
- Ensure governance and compliant use by Equifax users and external clients
- Implement cost control monitoring and make recommendations
- Design and document backup and recovery plans for Ignite platforms
Key requirements
- Multiple years hands-on experience in a data analytics environment
- Strong technical expertise in analytics techniques
- Proficiency using SQL and Python in a data analytics environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication with varied technical audiences
- Experience managing stakeholder relationships outside the immediate team
