Product Manager – Buy-Side Operations and Asset Servicing

Overview

As a senior member of the Buyside Product team, you will shape the front-to-back operating model and IBOR strategy for buy-side clients. You’ll drive data-quality driven solutions across middle- and back-office workflows, partnering with Engineering to deliver scalable improvements. Your work directly supports operational efficiency, data integrity, and client outcomes in a fast-paced, client-driven environment. This role offers impact through cross-functional collaboration and strategic product direction rooted in real-world workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive product priorities aligned to client needs and enterprise objectives
• Own and manage the product roadmap for key areas including asset class expansion and operational readiness
• Analyze front-to-middle office workflows to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
• Translate business needs into product requirements and partner with Engineering for scalable delivery
• Improve start-of-day data completeness, accuracy, and timeliness across critical workflows
• Utilize data, metrics and client feedback to inform prioritisation
• Lead integrations with third-party partners and internal systems in line with target models
• Track delivery against milestones and manage risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations
• Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to communicate product vision and progress

Key requirements

• 8+ years of experience in buy-side asset management or financial technology
• Strong understanding of data integration, reconciliation or data integrity management processes
• Working knowledge of investment workflows across front-to-middle office operations
• Experience owning product initiatives and leading cross-functional delivery
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data for product decisions
• Experience collaborating with Engineering in an agile environment
• Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced setting
