Overview
In this role, you will lead site-based manufacturing operations support to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable production. You will work closely with operations, quality, engineering and supply teams to drive continuous improvement and operational readiness. You will act as the go-to contact for projects, transfers and audits, while coaching frontline staff to embed standard work. This is a hands-on position at a UK facility with a focus on delivering high-quality outputs at scale using modern manufacturing approaches.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily operational support to meet production schedules while upholding safety and quality
- Serve as primary operations contact for projects, transfers and handovers into production
- Support audit readiness and act as contact during inspections
- Manage deviations, incidents and investigations with timely root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Coach frontline leaders and technicians to implement standard work and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with engineering and planning to maintain business continuity, resource plans and local SOPs
Key requirements
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing or packaging environment
- Experience in an operational or operations support role with day-to-day delivery responsibilities
- Proven experience managing deviations, investigations and corrective actions
- Experience supporting internal or external audits and inspection readiness
- Track record of delivering continuous improvement or operational change
