Overview
In this role, you will oversee contractor-led build and refresh projects for Global Outdoor roadside assets, ensuring on-time delivery, within budget, and compliant with safety standards. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across Partnerships, Operations, Safety, Engineering, and Programmes to grow the roadside estate and uphold display quality. You’ll manage scope, design, construction, commissioning, and risk mitigation, with site visits nationwide. This hands-on role combines project leadership with stakeholder management to drive high-impact, field-based projects.

Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans with budgets, timelines and resources
- Manage all project phases from scoping to commissioning to meet goals
- Perform risk analysis and implement mitigation strategies
- Monitor contractor compliance with scope, specifications and safety
- Conduct nationwide site visits to verify build standards
- Oversee project expenditures and collaborate with finance/procurement to optimize costs
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, operations and finance to align on goals
- Maintain quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and safety standards
- Lead post-project evaluations and capture lessons learned
- Maintain detailed project documentation and provide regular status updates
- Oversee project closeout and transition to sales and operations
Key requirements
- 3+ years in project management or CAPEX project delivery, preferably construction/engineering/digital industries
- Experience delivering roadside, highway, rail or airports installations
- Experience managing contractors and suppliers in NEC3/4 or similar contract environments
- Adherence to CDM Regulations 2015 and evidence of safety-focused site management and auditing
- Practitioner-level certification such as Prince II or equivalent (desirable)
- Familiarity with project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Budget management experience and ability to support cost controls
- Strong analytical, scheduling and risk management capabilities
