Commissioning Engineer -Fire Alarm Systems

Overview

In this role you will commission a wide range of fire detection systems for high-value commercial and industrial sites across London and the South East. You will apply your BS 5839 knowledge to ensure compliance and deliver a professional, on-site service. You’ll work on large installation projects, collaborating with a team to solve technical challenges and uphold quality standards. This role offers a lucrative package and clear impact on safety and reliability of life-safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Commission and validate fire detection systems (including Advanced and Notifier) on diverse sites
• Ensure compliance with BS 5839 and project specifications
• Provide on-site technical expertise and issue resolution
• Deliver a professional customer-facing service on high-value installations
• Collaborate with project teams to support large installation projects

Key requirements

• Experience in fire alarm commissioning
• Excellent working knowledge of BS 5839
