Senior Project Manager – Hydropower

Overview

In this Senior Project Manager role, you will lead large, complex hydropower projects and drive delivery on time, budget, and quality. You’ll shape project outcomes across roles from advisory to client-facing design and remediation support, while coordinating cross-functional teams. The position offers hybrid work from multiple UK offices and exposure to iconic projects like Coire Glas, Koysha, and Dinorwig. Responsibilities

• lead and deliver hydropower projects to time, cost and quality targets
• proactively manage project team and stakeholders
• coordinate with clients, contractors, and lenders as needed
• provide governance, risk and schedule management across projects
• support remediation, development and due diligence activities as required
• foster strong team dynamics and effective client relationships

Key requirements

• demonstrable experience managing complex hydropower, dams or energy sector projects
• project management qualifications such as APM PMQ or PMI PMP
• strong skills in cost, schedule, risk, stakeholder, resource and governance management
• experience in contractor or consultancy settings on large Design and Build projects is advantageous
