Overview
In this role you will shape and execute the talent development strategy to grow employees and the organisation. You will design frameworks and run development programs that align with business goals and leadership needs. You’ll manage learning initiatives, assess talent potential, and support clear career pathways to sustain growth and continuity. You’ll collaborate with HR and business leaders to implement a three-year plan and measure impact, helping the firm build leadership capability and a strong talent pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a 3-year Talent Development Strategy
- Create Career Development framework, Leadership and Line Management Framework, Path to Promotion/Partnership
- Develop and deliver Line Manager training and appraisal processes
- Establish Succession Planning frameworks
- Identify and nurture talent using assessment tools
- Manage Needs analyses, learning resources, and LMS oversight
- Support Career Progression with clear pathways and manager collaboration
- Collaborate with HR, business leaders, and other departments to align talent strategy with organisational needs
- Evaluate program effectiveness using workforce data and make improvements
Key requirements
- Experience creating and implementing Talent Development programs for skill development, career advancement, and leadership growth
- Strategic and operational thinker with ability to design frameworks and processes
- Preferred experience in asset management or financial services
- Ability to define competencies and pathways for promotion and leadership
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and evaluating program impact
- Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration with HR and business leaders
