In this Account Manager role, you will steward multi‑region client programmes, guiding delivery and offering strategic policy insights. You will liaise with UK and international stakeholders, coordinating activities and developing materials to support advocacy and policy objectives. You’ll grow client relationships, drive project workstreams, and mentor junior teammates as part of a high‑performing, collaborative culture. Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day client project operations, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery across multiple programmes
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, events and stakeholder engagement across UK and international programmes
- Develop and review high-quality client materials and policy analyses
- Lead specific workstreams within larger client programmes, aligning with strategic objectives
- Build strong client relationships and act as day-to-day contact
- Stay updated on UK/global policy developments and translate into actionable recommendations
- Coordinate policy intelligence and rapid alerts for internal teams and clients
- Support development of policy, public affairs and advocacy strategies and stakeholder plans
- Contribute to new business opportunities through research, proposals and pitches
- Identify opportunities for organic account growth and advise senior colleagues
- Support team culture initiatives including DEI, wellbeing and knowledge sharing
- Mentor and delegate to Account Executives with quality oversight
- Pursue own professional development to broaden expertise
- Participate in internal and cross‑functional collaboration to drive results
Key requirements
- Experience in health policy or communications, preferably in a consultancy, healthcare organization or related environment
- Knowledge of UK and/or international health policy landscapes
- Strong research, analytical and written communication skills with ability to simplify complex information
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities with multi-priority workload management
- Experience managing client relationships and delivering high-quality work in fast-paced settings
- Collaborative mindset with junior colleague development
- Proactive, solutions-focused approach and strong attention to detail
- Experience using AI-enabled tools for efficiency and content development (advantageous)
