Overview
As Principal Consultant in the R&D Business Consulting practice, you guide clients in transforming technology, data, and AI to accelerate bringing therapies to patients. You’ll reshape operating models, drive organizational change, and demonstrate measurable business value across regulatory, pharmacovigilance, and clinical domains. You work with a global team delivering high-impact engagements for Pharma, medtech, and life sciences organizations. This role combines leadership, strategic growth, and thought leadership to keep Veeva at the industry forefront.

Responsibilities
- Lead the most complex global projects with accountability for delivery excellence across multiple teams
- Own and drive business development for the R&D BC practice, targeting deals over $1M+
- Manage and mentor consulting teams, shaping professional growth and delivery standards
- Develop and advocate regulatory thought leadership to maintain industry relevance
- Serve as trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders using Veeva data and software to solve critical challenges
Key requirements
- 10+ years of R&D Life Sciences consulting experience (Management Consulting preferred)
- Proven ability to win and deliver $1M+ consulting engagements
- Deep domain knowledge in Regulatory Operations/Affairs and broad Life Sciences landscape
- Extensive experience managing multiple project teams and senior-level customer relationships
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
