Overview

As a Cato AI Security Professional Services Consultant, you help customers implement Cato AI security solutions and translate complex AI security challenges into practical, value-driven outcomes. You’ll build trust with stakeholders, guide governance and architecture decisions, and collaborate across product, support, and engineering to improve offerings. This role combines hands-on cloud security with advisory leadership in AI risk management. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable AI-enabled networks that align with industry standards and regulatory guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain expert-level proficiency with the Cato AI Security solution and keep current with AI security and enterprise IT trends
  • Develop relationships with customer stakeholders and partners to drive consultative, prescriptive engagements
  • Lead end-to-end engagements implementing Cato AI security for AI risk management, model security, and data protection
  • Design secure AI architectures and governance aligned to standards (NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, EU AI Act)
  • Translate technical findings into actionable recommendations for executive and technical audiences
  • Serve as SME on AI and LLM security across the customer base
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and enablement materials
  • Collaborate with product, support, and engineering to relay field feedback and influence roadmap
  • Support pre-sales scoping of professional services for new engagements
  • Identify opportunities to expand AI security services and capabilities
  • Collaborate with the broader professional services team to develop repeatable best practices
  • Operate day-to-day with minimal oversight as a technical escalation point

Key requirements

  • 5+ years of cloud architecture experience with AWS or Azure, including hands-on deployment and management of EKS/ECS or AKS
  • 3+ years in a customer-facing role in a high-tech vendor context with enterprise consulting or professional services
  • Experience with API gateways (e.g., Zuul, Apigee, Kong, Amazon API Gateway, Azure API Management) and AI application gateways (e.g., LiteLLM, Portkey, Helicone, TrueFoundry)
  • Strong understanding of public cloud networking (AWS VPCs, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53; Azure equivalents)
  • Experience in AI/ML infrastructure design including SageMaker, Bedrock, Vertex AI, Databricks, GPU compute, and inference pipelines
  • Familiarity with AI threat models (prompt injection, data leakage, model inversion, adversarial attacks)
  • IaC proficiency (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK) with automation scripting (Python, Bash, Go) a plus
  • Knowledge of container security, runtime protection, and service mesh (Istio, App Mesh)
  • Observability stack experience (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
  • Knowledge of data sovereignty, regulatory frameworks (FedRAMP, SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, GDPR)
  • Familiarity with AI security frameworks (NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 42001, OWASP Top 10 for LLMs) is a plus
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Industry security certifications (CISSP, CCSK, CISM) and AI security credentials
