Finance Manager

Overview

In this Finance Manager role you own day-to-day finance operations within a fast‑growing fintech. You will lead a small finance team and report to the Financial Controller with a clear succession plan. You’ll drive the monthly close, management reporting, and regulatory FCA reporting, while partnering with the commercial team on budgeting and reforecasts. You will advance automation of the finance stack and support a scalable financial process to sustain profitability and growth. This is a hands-on, impact‑oriented role in a high‑growth, FCA‑authorised environment.

Pay / Benefits

• base salary 70,000 – 85,000

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close (target: working day 5) and produce the management accounts pack
• Lead a team of three (Senior Finance Analyst, Finance Analyst, AP Lead)
• Manage the year-end audit process with external auditors
• Partner with the commercial team on the annual budget and quarterly reforecasts
• Drive automation of the finance stack (Xero → NetSuite migration starts Q2)
• Own regulatory financial reporting to the FCA

Key requirements

• ACA / ACCA qualified, 2–4 years PQE
• Audit-trained (Big 4 or top-10 firm)
• Strong technical accounting under IFRS
• Experience in a high-growth fintech, SaaS or scale-up environment
• Comfortable being hands-on while developing a small team
