Overview

In this role you will deliver reactive and preventive maintenance across the Millennium Management LLC London facility, ensuring uptime and safe operations. You will work within JLL’s National Engineering team to maintain electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and building fabric systems, producing reports and ensuring regulatory compliance. You’ll manage on-site procurement, document work orders in CAFM, and support CPD and safety training. The position offers exposure to high-profile properties, on-call duties, and a clear path to professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver reactive maintenance and repair services to minimise downtime
  • Execute planned preventative maintenance and tests (EMERGENCY LIGHTING, fire alarms, RCBO/RCD, etc.)
  • Maintain electrical systems incl. wiring fault diagnosis and BMS troubleshooting
  • Carry out minor mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and fabric tasks
  • Update and close work orders in CAFM; maintain site log books and audit trails
  • Produce technical reports on remedial works; issue certifications
  • Develop site-specific Method Statements and Risk Assessments
  • Ensure adherence to quality procedures, site protocols, and safety policies
  • Provide emergency response coverage and on-call availability
  • Collaborate with colleagues across trades to deliver integrated solutions
  • Participate in CPD and mandatory health and safety training
  • Undertake additional duties as directed by Facilities Management team

Key requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of commercial electrical systems in corporate environments
  • Proven electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in facilities management
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning)
  • Basic plumbing skills for minor repairs
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and its application
  • Proficient in using smartphones for work order management
  • Independent work ethic with strong teamwork and communication
