Overview
In this role, you will support public sector clients—especially Defence and security-focused programmes—in designing and delivering complex procurements. You will join a collaborative Transformation team, shaping strategies, supplier engagement, and contract models to drive value and better services for citizens. You’ll work across strategy, solution design, and implementation with cross-functional experts. Responsibilities
- Draft procurement and commercial strategies with options and evaluation plans
- Contribute to key procurement documentation (PQQs, ITN/ITPD, Heads of Terms, Contracts)
- Generate analysis to support solution development and change
- Support negotiations between Defence/Public Sector and suppliers
- Develop contract management operating models
- Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams on procurement strategies and business case activities
- Build strong client and third-party relationships
- Coordinate with Digital Strategy, Innovation, Cyber Security, and Data Analytics teams
- Continuously develop personal skills and share insights
Key requirements
- Experience navigating complex procurement landscapes in defence or government
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on problem-solving
- Knowledge of procurement regulations

- Ability to lead a workstream within a broader team project
