Overview
In this role you will support NS & Defence projects by shaping procurement and contract strategies, managing end-to-end contracts and supplier performance, and ensuring governance and compliance. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to mitigate risks on complex government infrastructure programs and contribute to secure, efficient delivery for major clients. The opportunity centers on public sector procurement within defence, with potential exposure to DSPCR, PCR and related standards. This role offers impact in a high-security, delivery-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop procurement and commercial documentation (e.g. strategy, tender documents)
- Manage contracts end-to-end
- Manage supplier performance
- Identify and mitigate risks
- Support tendering and negotiation activity
- Ensure governance and compliance
Key requirements
- Some experience in procurement or contract management
- Some experience of managing risks and supplier performance
- Understanding of project/programme management
- Strong commercial judgement
- Professional qualification(s) in Business, Procurement/Supply Chain Management, Law, Project Management or equivalent, or equivalent experience
- Partially through studies in these qualifications
- Trained in or has experience in public sector procurement, ideally DSPCR, PCR and/or Procurement Act 2023
- Knowledge of DSPCR

- Experience with NEC, FIDIC or JCT (bonus)
