Overview
In this role, you join a national law firm’s Banking & Finance team in Cheltenham to advise lenders, corporates and sponsors on a range of financing transactions. You will work cross-functionally to deepen technical expertise, support business development and manage key client relationships. The role emphasizes collaborative problem-solving, high-quality drafting and commercially focused advice. Responsibilities
- Advising on a range of banking and finance issues
- Developing and maintaining strong technical knowledge within the sector
- Collaborating with colleagues to share expertise and support team development
- Building internal referral networks and contributing to business development initiatives
- Managing client relationships and delivering high quality, commercially focused advice
Key requirements
- 1-4 years’ PQE (or more)
- Solid grounding in banking and finance law
- Experience in leveraged finance and real estate finance (desirable)
- Excellent drafting skills and strong technical ability
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong client relationships
- Strong commercial awareness
