Principal Consultant – (Senior Manager) Operational Resilience

Overview

In this role you will shape resilience strategies for financial services and energy clients, guiding regulatory readiness and transformation programs. You’ll leverage AI-enabled workflows to accelerate analysis while ensuring governance and responsible oversight. You will lead cross-functional engagements, drive capabilities growth, and influence senior stakeholders to deliver robust resilience and cyber risk outcomes. This is an opportunity to impact critical risk domains at scale within Capco’s FRRF practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational resilience assessments, scenario testing, and control implementation programmes with AI-enabled workflows.
• Advise clients on PRA, DORA and resilience frameworks, translating requirements into actionable transformation plans and operating models.
• Oversee cyber risk, third-party risk, and vendor resilience assessments with AI-assisted analytics for risk prioritization and decision-making.
• Design and implement governance models, dashboards, IBS, ITOL, and reporting frameworks with governance for AI-assisted tools.
• Lead cyber and technology resilience transformation initiatives, including tooling, cloud security, and control enhancements, and contribute to business development and capability growth.

Key requirements

• Extensive experience delivering operational resilience, cyber risk, and third-party risk transformation in financial services, energy, or consulting.
• Strong understanding of PRA, DORA, and related resilience standards.
• Proven track record leading complex transformation programs (scenario testing, IBS/ITOL calibration, control remediation, operating model change).
• Experience using approved AI tools, automation, or advanced analytics in resilience and risk delivery with proper governance.
