Overview
In this role you will support multi-sector property investment strategies by delivering rigorous investment analysis, financial modelling, and transaction structuring. You will partner with the Property team and Portfolio Fund Managers to inform asset-level business plans and cross-fund portfolio planning, influencing investment decisions and portfolio performance. You will help shape new investment propositions and provide insights that support strategic planning across property funds. This is a collaborative, multidisciplinary role with a clear impact on RLAM’s property portfolios and investment outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Deliver detailed investment analysis and financial modelling to evaluate new property opportunities and propositions
- Support transaction structuring by assessing risk, return, and viability
- Collaborate with Portfolio Fund Managers to provide cross-fund investment analysis for portfolio business plans
- Produce high-quality financial analysis and performance forecasts for strategic planning across property funds
- Work with the wider Property team to enhance asset business plans through robust investment insights and modelling
Key requirements
- Previous exposure to real estate
- In-depth knowledge of property investment and occupational sectors, the economy, and other asset classes
- Understanding of investment processes including valuation, development, and funding
- Experience in asset management, investment and development processes, including valuations, DCF and financial models
- Ability to work independently and in a team; mentoring and advising others
- Solid knowledge of legal/economic frameworks impacting property investment
- CFA / ACA / MRICS qualified (or similar) preferred
- Experience with Anaplan (highly desirable), Power BI and Argus Enterprise considered a plus
