Overview
In this role you drive end-to-end delivery across IT, infrastructure, operations, and InfoSec to translate strategic goals into shipped value. You serve as the accountable owner of “how” and “when” outcomes are realised, leading cross-team collaboration to align goals and monitor progress. You’ll champion continuous improvement and refine delivery frameworks to boost speed, quality, and efficiency. This opportunity suits a proactive leader who shapes execution at scale within the energy sector and a dynamic, change-ready culture.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive end-to-end delivery plans across multiple domains
- Align diverse teams to shared goals and map work to final outcomes
- Lead OKR setting, plan execution, and progression to full realisation with corrective actions as needed
- Drive continuous improvement and enhance developer and employee experience
- Refine delivery framework to remove friction, increase speed and improve quality
- Foster a culture of continuous delivery, innovation, and efficiency
- Identify, visualise, and mitigate cross-team risks and dependencies threatening timelines
- Own forecasting for time and cost, integrating estimation methodologies and constraints
- Communicate project status, costs, and timelines to leadership and stakeholders
- Facilitate reporting that bridges technical progress with business expectations
Key requirements
- 3–5 years in agile delivery, with experience managing large-scale, complex projects
- Expert-level knowledge of agile and lean principles; proven Kanban scaling experience (Portfolio Kanban)
- Exceptional senior stakeholder management and influencing skills at a strategic level
- Strong commercial and financial acumen; experience managing multi-million-pound budgets (5m+)
- Deep understanding of energy industry landscape (regulatory, commercial, technological trends)
- Experience managing IT, Infrastructure, and InfoSec projects and leading internal initiatives
- Strategic, outcome-focused mindset translating business objectives into delivery plans
- Advanced agile certifications (e.g., KCP, KMP) are highly desirable
