Pre-Sales Consultant, Financial Services (German Speaking)

Overview

In this role you bridge AlphaSense’s AI-powered platform with financial services workflows. You’ll partner with GTM teams to run targeted product evaluations, shaping use cases and guiding prospects from evaluation to close. You’ll build credibility as a domain and product expert with investment professionals, and feed client feedback to product and content teams. The opportunity sits at the intersection of sales, product, and finance, helping clients extract decisive insights. You’ll work cross-functionally to influence go-to-market strategy and expand value for top financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Own and run seamless product evaluations with Account Executives to drive new business revenue
• Curate and develop Financial Services use cases based on client discovery and evolving capabilities
• Engage investment professionals across levels to understand challenges and demonstrate value
• Build strong client relationships and establish credibility as a domain and product expert
• Translate client feedback into product/content improvements and inform GTM decisions

Key requirements

• 2+ years’ experience in a Financial Services role or supporting FS clients in a fintech/SaaS environment
• Proficiency in German and English
• Interest in Generative AI and its potential in Financial Services
• Executive presence and strong presentation skills for diverse stakeholders
• Autonomy, high ownership mindset, and ability to drive workflow transformation
• Consultative, articulate, client-facing approach with ability to distill complex issues
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence GTM, Product, and Content teams
• Experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Solutions Consultant roles
