Structural Engineer

Overview

As a Structural Engineer at HDR, you will collaborate with multiple engineering teams to deliver detailed designs, plans and specifications from concept to completion. You’ll support project managers across diverse projects, from data centers to mixed-use developments, contributing to high-impact structures. You’ll apply innovative thinking to solve complex engineering problems and ensure technical quality across designs. Responsibilities

• Design structural elements for diverse projects
• Create models and calculations using Tekla and ETABS
• Coordinate with design teams to ensure compliant, high-quality designs
• Perform structural survey work and prepare reports
• Bring innovative approaches to complex engineering challenges

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Previous structural engineering experience in a design consultancy
• Experience with Revit and ability to direct production of CAD drawings and models
• Strong communication with clients and consultants
• Active participation in an employee-owned culture
