Overview

As an HR Business Partner, you support operational excellence and organizational health across assigned Amazon sites, partnering with field and campus leaders to translate priorities into actionable plans. You drive the employee experience through feedback mechanisms, engagement initiatives, and safe, inclusive environments, while leveraging data-driven decisions and HR technology to improve impact. You balance operational needs with Amazon values to foster trust, performance, and development at scale. This onsite, multi-site role offers cross-site influence and visible leadership across the workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Foster two-way communication through Voice of the Associate, roundtables, and GEMBA walks
  • Execute and monitor engagement strategies and recognition programs, including budgeting
  • Establish Employee Resource Groups and equitable talent practices to improve inclusion
  • Maintain floor presence, gather insights, and detect early disengagement signals
  • Conduct site walks to ensure workplace conditions and facility standards align with Amazon standards
  • Partner with safety teams to ensure consistent safety program execution
  • Lead community initiatives across nodes, collaborating with Public Policy/PR teams
  • Use data analytics to identify trends, predict challenges, and implement proactive HR solutions
  • Drive adoption of HR tech, AI, and self-service tools while delivering high-touch service
  • Coach leaders on people management, performance feedback, and employee relations
  • Support change management and translate change into local routines
  • Execute core PXT processes with sound business acumen and trust-building
  • Maintain strong partnerships across levels to improve workplace experience
  • Navigate organizational dynamics and drive strategic workplace improvements

Key requirements

  • Knowledge of local labor law
  • Experience in HR within an international, fast-paced and customer-driven environment
  • Experience in a call center, distribution center, or manufacturing environment
  • Experience supporting hourly employee client group
  • Experience with MS Office tools and HR Information Systems
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
