Overview

In this role you will lead End-to-End design integration for the HD building housing the UDG division, coordinating civil, MEH, electrical, I&C and other disciplines. You will manage interfaces with Turnkey suppliers, align scope with FOAK changes, and drive risk and schedule governance. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure safety, quality and timely delivery, leveraging lessons from HPC. This is an opportunity to shape design integration for a first-of-a-kind project within a global nuclear solutions leader.

Responsibilities

  • Lead End-to-End HD building design integration across disciplines (Civils, MEH, Equipment, Electrical, I&C, Hazards)
  • Manage HD Building interfaces and impacts from Turnkey suppliers
  • Identify interfaces, realign needs due to FOAK changes, and develop mitigations
  • Oversee discipline coordination and inter-sequence activity with Diesels, Civils, SSW & Anchorage, layout, MEH, Electrical, I&C
  • Ensure schedules align to minimize rework and monitor HD design delivery progress
  • Resolve issues, risks, OPs, and scope of HD Area activities in collaboration with Programme and NSA Contractor teams
  • Support commercial scope definition and task reconciliation with NSA Contractor
  • Engage with configuration management, design authority and technical directorate for project decisions
  • Capture and implement lessons from HPC into SZC scope and align with Buildings and Diesel teams
  • Prepare and present information to governance bodies (WCM, TDF) and maintain risk analyses for HD Building interfaces
  • Maintain dedicated routines to ensure alignment between internal stakeholders (Buildings vs Diesel)
  • Ensure timely decision-making and risk options for the project organization
