Overview

As a Finance Business Partner, you will influence decision-making across UK Rental, Automotive Catalogue & Data Solutions, and Transport Management units by delivering financial insight and strategic support. You will bridge finance and operations, ensuring financial goals align with business strategy in a growth-focused, multinational environment. You will work with cross-functional leaders to analyze performance, model long-term scenarios, and identify savings opportunities. This role offers impact through strategic partnering, cost management, and ongoing improvements in financial processes. Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic advisor to business units, providing financial insights to guide decision-making
  • Collaborate with department heads to align financial and business objectives
  • Analyze revenues, costs, and profitability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting, including variance analysis
  • Monitor KPIs and recommend actions to improve performance
  • Develop financial models for long-term planning and new initiatives viability
  • Control costs and identify savings opportunities
  • Present financial reports to senior leadership in a clear, actionable manner
  • Recommend and implement improvements to financial processes and reporting
  • Provide financial input for projects, including cost-benefit analysis and post-implementation reviews

Key requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; professional accounting qualification preferred
  • 7+ years in finance roles with at least 3 years in business partnering
  • Strong financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial systems
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills
