Overview
In this role, you will lead the end-to-end bid process to win work in UK Critical National Infrastructure and commercial sectors. You will translate complex security and integration solutions into compelling proposals, collaborating with technical and sales teams to meet client criteria. You will manage timelines, governance, and a reusable content library to drive higher win rates. This position supports growth by securing CCS frameworks and government-related contracts. Responsibilities
- Lead the full bid lifecycle (PQQ, SQ, ITT, BAFO) and ensure compliant, compelling responses
- Plan, coordinate and deliver high-quality submissions aligned to client requirements
- Manage bid timelines, governance, and stakeholder engagement
- Write clear, customer-focused responses translating technical solutions into value
- Develop and maintain a reusable content library and ensure consistency across bids
- Support bids into CCS and other UK frameworks and ensure compliance with public sector processes
- Collaborate with Technical, Engineering, and Sales teams to shape robust solutions
- Coordinate internal stakeholders and manage external partners for bids
Key requirements
- Proven bid management and/or bid writing experience within the UK market
- Track record of winning bids within CCS frameworks and public sector environments
- Experience across CNI sectors such as Government, Utilities, Defence, or Transport
- Strong technical understanding of security, systems integration, or technology solutions
- Excellent written communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
- Computer literate with knowledge of security industry preferable
- Energetic, results-oriented team player able to work under pressure
