Intercompany Finance Transformation Manager

Overview

In this role, you will lead SAP S/4HANA intercompany finance workstreams to transform intercompany processes and enable faster close and better margin insight. You’ll shape finance process design and advise client stakeholders, contributing to CFO & Enterprise Value outcomes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, SAP delivery, tax and treasury, and drive scalable controls and issue resolution. Responsibilities

• Lead finance workstreams within SAP S/4HANA finance transformation programmes
• Own end-to-end intercompany accounting design (cross-company postings, intercompany AR/AP, invoicing, clearing, netting, settlement)
• Drive intercompany close and reconciliation with scalable processes and robust controls
• Act as the finance design authority for intercompany processes aligned to enterprise structure and CFO priorities
• Translate transfer pricing requirements into practical finance processes and SAP-enabled solutions
• Facilitate design and decision workshops with finance, tax and treasury stakeholders
• Manage dependencies between intercompany processes and adjacent areas (Record to Report, Supply Chain Finance, Group reporting and consolidation)
• Collaborate with SAP delivery teams while retaining ownership of finance outcomes and business requirements
• Support programme leadership with issue management, decision papers and progress reporting
• Contribute to CFO&EV practice development, shaping intercompany/transfer pricing transformation approaches and developing reusable assets

Key requirements

• Strong experience delivering intercompany finance transformations within S/4HANA programmes
• Deep understanding of intercompany accounting processes (matching, reconciliation, clearing, netting, period-end close, eliminations)
• Knowledge of enterprise structure implications for intercompany design and reporting (company codes, controlling areas, profit centres)
• Experience with SAP intercompany capabilities (e.g., SAP ICMR, RRICB, advanced intercompany billing concepts)
• Strong understanding of transfer pricing mechanisms and operating models and SAP enablement
• Ability to translate transfer pricing requirements into intercompany pricing logic and operational finance processes
• Experience leading intercompany workstreams through fit-to-standard discussions, design, testing and deployment
• Strong stakeholder management to coordinate finance, tax and treasury perspectives
• Ability to manage functional teams across onshore/offshore delivery models
