Overview
In this Financial Analyst role, you will support Houlihan Lokey’s Digital Infrastructure team in London, focusing on tech-enabled asset sectors and related M&A advisory. You will build and explain financial models, conduct due diligence, and assist in preparing marketing materials and client presentations. You will also research sectors, value companies, and help nurture client relationships. The position offers cross‑functional collaboration in a collegial, entrepreneurial environment with exposure to high‑impact transactions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyse and explain historical and projected financial information
- Create financial models
- Coordinate and perform business due diligence
- Prepare confidential information memoranda, management presentations, and marketing pitches
- Conduct research on sectors, companies and potential buyers
- Value companies and businesses
- Build relationships with clients, prospects and professional advisors
- Assist in planning of engagements
Key requirements
- Strong academic track record with at least a 2:1 Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
- 1–2 years of full-time investment banking experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
- Experience in the TECH/Digital Infrastructure sector preferred
- Experience in executing sell-side transactions
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
- Analytical abilities and solid accounting/financial theory knowledge
- Excellent financial statement analysis with ability to assess assumptions and caveats
- Strong valuation theory knowledge
